About
Founded in 1997
Sweatyfish.net is the continual work of visual artist and composer Paja — his exploration of sound with images and motion.
Each piece begins with a pulse, a signal — and evolves through movement and color into a living visual frequency. The result is an immersive experience that merges music, motion, and atmosphere into something both meditative and electric.
Created as moving-image compositions and still frames, these works are built for screen, stage, and installation.
Every sound, every flicker of light, is conducted by instinct — designed to feel alive in time.
In the early years of YouTube, Paja began pairing his atmospheric visuals with music from artists he admired. Many of those early Sweatyfish.net pieces — now publicly timestamped at nearly 20 years old — went quietly viral, reaching tens of thousands of viewers at a time when the platform was brand new. These visual–music explorations caught the attention of major artists, and echoes of those ideas later emerged in live tour visuals and contemporary stage design.
Alongside that early viral rise, Sweatyfish.net created original visual content for major touring acts — including visuals for the world tours of Rascal Flatts and KISS — as well as work for Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Remy Zero, Cheshire’s, and Danish singer-songwriter Jørgen Klubien. Paja also collaborated with renowned production designer Bruce Rodgers of Tribe Design on large-scale touring concepts for Rascal Flatts and exploratory design work for Marc Anthony.
Sweatyfish.net is a place where rhythm, energy, and emotion are given form.
